We’re glad to discover that the producers of the movie Haw-ang came up with this Youtube video (or “videofied” still photos) featuring the actors from Hungduan, Ifugao. At least those of you who won’t have the chance to watch this movie will see our kailiyans who starred in it. They are as good as professional actors in our biased opinion 🙂

Sometime last May, we blogged about Haw-ang, an indie film about a Catholic nun assigned to teach catechism in an Ifugao village but who ended up doing more than that. This is what we said:
After Batad sa Paang Palay, here comes another film about Ifugaos entitled Haw-ang (English Title: Before Harvest) produced by an independent outfit.
Here’s an interview with Marky Cielo which, we’re sure, you will find interesting. It was originally published in the Philippine Star, a daily newspaper. Mga girls diyan, ligawan na nga ninyo itong si Marky para hindi malungkot ang kanyang love life.
FUNFARE By Ricardo F. Lo Besides Bert Nievera, Martin’s dad who is half-Igorot, there’s only one pure Igorot in showbiz. [Bill’s Note: Marky is actually also part Igorot cause his dad is from the Visayas] He’s none other than Marky Cielo, 2005 Sole Survivor of the GMA 7 reality-TV talent search StarStruck (Batch 3).

Nats also heads the Kalinga Arts Guild (if we’re not mistaken). He also blogs at Kalinga, the Land of the Brave and is the owner of kalingatambayan.com which has a forum that is becoming more and more popular. Aba, hindi yata natatakot ang mga forumers na mag-expose ng mga kababalaghan hehe.
