The remains of slain domestic helper Jocelyn Dulnuan arrived in Manila as a militant migrant workers’ organization appealed to the Arroyo administration to ensure that her killing was solved. … There were no hysterics from her family but the tears flowed. The Dulnuans have a four-year-old daughter, Migrante said.
The crate bearing Dulnuan’s casket was loaded to a jeepney, and would be brought to Hingyon, Ifugao, her home province.

Wiping away tears, dozens of people filed into the solemn service, where Dulnuan was remembered for being a loving mother who came to Canada to build a better life for her daughter.
“As a parent she wants to provide her daughter with a better education, a better future,” recalled relative Fay Hangdan to those on hand. “As a sister she wants to help her siblings back home.”

HONG KONG, 12 October 2007 – The family of murdered housekeeper Jocelyn Dulnuan today issued an appeal for any information that could assist the police investigation into Jocelyn’s death.
“During this difficult time, we have been sustained by the love and kindness of so many people. The Filipino community and many others in Toronto have come together to support our family, and we ask the community to turn its attention now to helping the police find Jocelyn’s killer or killers. I beg anyone who knew or had any contact with Jocelyn to speak with the police,” Jocelyn’s mother, Godeliva Dulnuan, said.

The fundraising went well and we are able to collect $4664.00. At the fundraising a representative from the Phillipine consulate came and inform us that they will help in the repatriation of the body of Jocelyn to the Philippines thus the money that we raised and any other donations will be sent to the family of Jocelyn Dulnuan.
