Much thanks to Art Tibaldo for these photos of the IMPAKABSAT trade fair at the Festival Supermall in Muntinlupa. Those of you in Manila can still catch it today, the last day of the fair. If you can’t make it, well, watch out for it next year.
For those new to IMPAKABSAT, it is an annual event spearheaded by the Department of Trade and Industry to promote the Cordillera Region’s many products. The acronym stands for the Cordillera provinces (Ifugao, Mt. Province, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Benguet and Baguio City) and “kabsat” which, as we all know, means sibling/brother/sister in Ilocano as well as in other Cordillera languages.
The second photo above shows Godfrey Dominong, DTI-Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program Coordinator for Ifugao, wowing shoppers and mallgoers.
The second to last photo shows Kalinga Governor Floydelia Diasen who was there to promote Kalinga products (especially its famous coffee) while the last one shows DTI-CAR officials Carmelita Usman (Regional Office), Henry Reyes (Abra) and Greda Gawisan (Benguet) during the opening program.

sayang, layo din ng festival mall.
I wasn’t able to go to the event, sayang! It’s only 4 km from my place! Been busy and all, kasi. Hopefully, next year maka-attend ako kabayan!
Hi Banguedenio,
Is that so? Sayang I dont have ANC or I would have watched. Thanks for the info 🙂
Hi Arcibald,
Oo nga eh, hahabol sana ako sa last day but there was no way I will go all the way to Muntinlupa. They usually do it at Megamall but for some reason they moved to another venue this year. Thanks.
Hi Anitokid,
Thanks. They do it every year so you still have a chance. If you are a coffee lover, I’m sure you will like the Kalinga Brew 🙂

My experience in the Muntinlupa Impakabsat selling fair was a great experience to remember. Have a nice day and continue to explore and develop quality cordillera products for local & export market. Thanks to all.
