The Jocelyn Dulnuan Support Committee and the San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish invite to a Prayer Rally to remember the life and seek justice for Jocelyn, a mother, a wife and a friend.
WHEN: Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. WHERE: St. Simon Anglican Church (San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish) 525 Bloor St. East (5 min. walk east of Sherbourne Stn.)
Dear John Denver, Thank you for your gift of music. I remember listening to you while riding the Skyland Bus from Sagada to Baguio. The bus conductor kept playing your songs over and over and yet over again. Maybe he didn’t have any other cassette tape to play. But maybe, and I think this is the more likely reason, he is a big fan of yours.
The interesting thing is that no passenger complained about it. No one got up to tell the conductor to shut you down after we heard Rocky Mountain High for the uptenth time. Maybe we were all too tired to care. After all, the Halsema trip is a tiresome ride, then, as it is now. But maybe, and this is the more likely reason, we too were all big fans of yours.

HONG KONG, 12 October 2007 – The family of murdered housekeeper Jocelyn Dulnuan today issued an appeal for any information that could assist the police investigation into Jocelyn’s death.
“During this difficult time, we have been sustained by the love and kindness of so many people. The Filipino community and many others in Toronto have come together to support our family, and we ask the community to turn its attention now to helping the police find Jocelyn’s killer or killers. I beg anyone who knew or had any contact with Jocelyn to speak with the police,” Jocelyn’s mother, Godeliva Dulnuan, said.
Ito ang mga kamag-anak ni Gandang Igorota. Maybe those Miss Universe organizers are right after all, maybe beauty contests are an effective way of promoting one’s culture.
UPDATE 2: Forwarded to us from the ifugaoyahoogroup, this update is from Fay Hangdaan:
The fundraising went well and we are able to collect $4664.00.
