More Crazy Spam

Let’s continue publishing the ridiculous spam mails we receive. As spam goes, here’s one that’s too good to be true:

You Need a Better Degree, and we can Help!

No examinations! No classes! No textbooks!

Yeah right! One would be better off buying those fake diplomas at Recto. It wouldn’t cost as much.

Now, we (or our email) apparently won 700,000 euros. Wow. I don’t know how much that is in pesos. But I’m going to donate it to Barack Obama so he can finally beat Hillary “Vote for me because I am inevitable” Clinton. Here’s the letter:

Huh! And they even added a note (disclaimer?) which warns us to not show their letter to others. How earnest is that? Good luck with that, Eddie and Barbara. We released the cat out of the bag.

Anyways, as we stated earlier, we’re publishing the email addresses of these spammers along with their spam not because we want anyone to contact them but because we hope that email harvesters will get their emails and send them the spam they so richly deserve.

  1. Hi Bill, that’s good of you to take up this case against spammers. I have my email filter on pero may nakakalusot pa rin.

I remember 4 years ago, I received a letter in the snail mail from the Bureau of Requisition blahblah of a country somewhere telling me that I won E200k. It was my neighbor who received it and I told her by phone to just open it and see what it was; then she went crazy when she saw the amount and sent the letter to me via LBC so I can claim my winnings daw. There was an elaborate plan on how I can claim my prize (kuno) but there are also fine prints: that I need to send this and that data, open a bank account to this bank, using such and such numbers and deposit a certain amount there so they can deposit my winnings. I went to the internet to look up the company. I found a site all about them: That they are a big network of cheats operating in Europe. All over the place, there were angry comments and warnings for others and a bunch of testimonies of people whom they have extorted money from. So meron pala talagang naoonse ang mga tinamaan ng magagaling na ito.

btw, I tagged you to do a meme. Check it out. 🙂

  2. Hi Ganda,
Hehe, I noticed that publishing spam is actually good for blog traffic kaya gawin na natin 🙂 Seems like some people search for more info about their spammers.

Sayang hindi mo kinuha ang inyong E200k. You will be a millionaire here kung sakali hehe.

Thanks for the tag. I will do it in the coming posts.

    Hi Anonymous,
Oo nga ano, may limits pala donation sa U.S. I think I prefer the abstract over boring details kasi. Thanks 🙂

NOTE: I deleted the comment on Rep. Dominguez because the commenter already published it in the right thread where it belongs.

  3. hmm boring details. at least there is a plan, details etc. rather than obama, i dont really know what he belives in

  4. I didn’t think you enjoyed spam for the traffic it brings you. I was just about to suggest moving this site from Blogger to WordPress because the latter has Akismet, until I read your reply. Hahaha!

Ganda, they use that to lure you to their country (usually Africa) where you will be in great physical danger, and that’s after you give them a little here and a little there to get the ball rolling so you can claim the money!

    🙂
