It is sad that there are still people who prey on the children. Bill mentions the support system - we do have a support system but it has not fully reached the grass roots. We only are seeing reports that are sent from the LGUs but we are not certain if abuses in the far-flung areas are given ample attention. We need to support our social workers who are in the front-lines. Contact your local Social Welfare and Development offices and ask what needs to be done.
