Freedom Loving Kalingas and Apayaos

Ignore the announcement written in the above poster. It is for an event two years ago but I’m still putting it here because it looks cool. Lady Liberty donning a Kalinga tapis, isn’t that an embodiment of cool? Conventional wisdom tells us that, of the different Igorot subgroups, Kalingas are the most fierce in protecting their freedom. So it is fitting that Kalingas in the U.S. use Lady Liberty as a symbol.
